“I walked in curious and walked out changed. Seeing the human body this way gives you a whole new respect for life.”
BODIES - THE SCIENCE WITHIN is a comprehensive exhibition that offers a fascinating, up-close look at the human body like you’ve never seen before.
You will be amazed as you learn in detail how human anatomy and physiology work in each of the systems through interaction with cutting-edge technology. Eight whole bodies and more than 100 organs in eight rooms preserved using the plastination method.
You can enjoy this fascinating experience with your whole family. You will have the opportunity to share your experience on social media, as each space is designed to generate photo or video content for TikTok and Instagram, thanks to the innovative technology applied
Visitors will experience a deeper sense of what it means to be alive by seeing the following:
• Anatomical studies.
• The respiratory system and how we breathe.
• The digestive system and how the food we eat is processed.
• The muscular system and how the different parts of our bodies move.
• The nervous system and our sensory, communicative, integrative and motor functions.
• The brain and how it is responsible for our feelings and emotions.

The Science of Plastination:
Plastination is a scientific preservation technique used to support education and research by allowing the human body to be studied in a clear, accurate, and lasting way. Through this process, water and lipids in biological tissues are replaced with a polymer, preserving anatomical structures exactly as they are in life.
In an educational context, plastinated specimens make complex anatomy accessible to a broad audience. They allow students and visitors to observe real organs and body systems in three dimensions, fostering a deeper understanding of human biology, health, and disease. The scientific focus of plastination-based exhibitions is to present the human body with accuracy and respect, while their educational mission is to inspire curiosity, promote health awareness, and encourage lifelong learning through direct observation.
